We are currently seeking a Vice President for a Precast/ Prestressed Concrete plant in the Upper Midwest.

Description:

Job Duties:

Responsibility for profitability of Prestress Division supplying products and services to commercial and government construction markets.
Improve margins across Prestress Division establishing bottom-line improvement year over year.
Directly manage Prestress Sales Manager & Prestress Operations Managers.
Implementation of price increases and negotiation of favorable raw material prices.
Promotion and development of Company Core Values encompassing Safety, Customer Service, Quality, Team Members and Operational Excellence.
Responsible for structuring internal controls for Operation, Sales and Engineering efforts, production scheduling and management, raw materials inventory, safety and quality programs.
Participate in the development of a new product lines with involvement including costing, design and estimating of the new products offered.
Enable Prestress Division to increase competitiveness and gain greater market shares.
Plan and implement regional market strategies to ensure continued long-term growth and profitability.
Manage key accounts, monitor market trends, and competitor activities.
Implement and adjust internal processes to ensure positive customer experience.
Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders throughout executive senior and mid-management levels.
Meet annual sales goals year over year.
Develop professional relationships with elected officials, engineers, bureaucracies, affecting infrastructure construction.

50% Travel.

Experience & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and extensive Precast manufacturing and sales experience.
Five - Seven years of experience in a senior management position.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills along with strong presentation, negotiation and persuasion skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and listening skills including the ability to solve problems proactively, and exercise sound judgment.
Experience opening new markets and establishing new customers.
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, proven sales and marketing ability.
A consistent track record of increasing sales revenue.
Able to apply effective time management and self-management skills.
Possess thorough, organized and detail-oriented approach to work.
Self-motivated, fast learner, shows initiative, willing to seek out information to achieve goals.
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook, Internet and other database/ERP applications.
