United Employment Group is seeking a QC Manager in the Midwest.
Description:
- Manage and oversee all operations of the Quality control department; including: QC Engineer and 4-5 inspectors
- Implement and sustain new processes to improve the department
- Train and educate quality control inspectors
- Be the leader of the Quality Culture throughout the plant
- Maintain positive improvement from PCI audits
- Report to upper management on the status of the quality throughout the company
Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong computer skills needed; Microsoft Office Proficiency required
- Good mathematical aptitude
- Ability to read/interpret construction documents and technical journals
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Exhibits good work ethic and decision making
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- PCI I and II (Level III Preferred)
- At least 3 years managing a quality control department in the precast industry
- Proven strong leadership skills
