United Employment Group is seeking a Machine Operator in Ohio.
Description:
Responsible for packaging product for yard to meet daily production goals. The position is full-time, scheduled to work 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required due to production demands, including some Fridays and Saturdays.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operate and maintain banding equipment
- Identify, record, and report product yarded daily
- Verify product that is being banded is properly labeled
- Daily care, maintenance and cleaning of manufacturing equipment and work area
- Operate powered lift truck
- Assist in other areas of production, including assisting machine operators
- Work safely and within time constraints
- Emptying tubs and or dump hoppers as needed
- Clean in accordance with 5S program
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, and quality-driven with the following skill set:
- Ability to quickly and easily understand machine operation and theory of operation
- Basic math skills
- Working knowledge of basic hand tools
- Ability to properly lift up to 85 lbs. repeatedly
- Current forklift, front-end loader, and Bobcat certification, or the ability to obtain required
