Description:
Company specializes in the design and manufacturing of quality precast/prestressed concrete products. Our projects include parking structures, building exteriors, bridges, sports stadiums and retaining walls throughout Metro New York/New Jersey, Upstate New York, and New England.
Job Summary:
The Project Site Superintendent position serves as the company representative on assigned projects and works with Senior Project Executive to achieve overall responsibility for project completion within its allotted time and budget. The position requires extensive travel throughout the year.
Essential Functions:
1. Front line customer service
2. Pre-erection survey and site preparation coordination
3. Daily delivery coordination of precast to the project
4. Erection Material management
5. Precast staging area coordination
6. Facilitation of erection sequence with erector
7. Monitoring of Erecting and safety Plans
8. Monitoring of Erector’s Quality Control
9. Monitoring of Precast quality
10. Daily erection reporting
11. Daily discrepancy reporting
12. Change order reports
13. Field repair coordination
14. Internal punch list development and finishing reporting
15. Travel – reliable transportation is required. Travel to project sites within 4 hours of plant location
Requirements, Education and Experience:
1. 5+ years of relevant construction experience, preferred
2. Engineering or Construction Management degree, preferred
3. Excellent customer skills, inter-personal and decision-making skills, required
4. Organizational and documentation skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments, required.
5. Proficient verbal and written English skills, required
6. Legal right to work in the U.S.
